There is so much conflicting information about flash photography on the internet, it is hard to know what to do. Well tomorrow night, Tuesday, April 22nd, I will be speaking to the New Westminster Photography Club about just that; When and how to use to use your flash.
Of course everyone has their own style, but there are some basic things you should know about using your flash. Things like; Should you use your use it for a portrait on a bright sunny day? What about with windows behind or at a hockey game? How can we reduce or eliminate red eye?
I will be blogging about all these things over time, but if you are interested in the ‘live’ presentation, come on down tomorrow night for the real deal.
The New Westminster Photography Club meets at 7:30 pm at the Centennial Lodge in Queens Park, New Westminster. You can find out more about them on their website nwphoto.org. They are a wonderful bunch of people. But be careful, after attending one of their meetings you just might want to join.
Hope to see you there for my ‘Flash Photography’ talk.
